RESIDENTIAL LOCATIONS CLASS I Locations: A vehicular gate operator or system intended for use in a home of one to four single family dwellings, or a garage or parking area associated therewith. ►Standard Residential Service Call (Normal Business Hours) - $99.99 (This is for service during our Normal Business Hours of M-F 8am-5pm; Saturday 8am-1pm) This includes a trip to your location* to diagnose exhibited gate system concerns. If required, Standard Repair/Service time is billed at $90 /hour in 1/4-hour increments. See Service Area Map ** For remote areas, trip time to acquire parts specific to your equipment may apply. Our technician will discuss this with you should the need arise. Automatic gate systems are mechanical and do require regular maintenance. Infrequently used gates don't necessarily need less service. In some cases just the exposure to the elements can cause severe damage when things aren't properly monitored. System batteries, Wiring, and Lubrication should be maintained regularly to ensure proper operation. High-traffic or frequently operated systems should be consistently monitored. Single Entrance/Exit and Mission-Critical installations should consider a KMC. Keep My Convenience (KMC) is a schedule agreement for regular gate service. Agreement holders qualify for additional savings on all parts and service. Discounting is 15% monthly, 10% bi-monthly, and 5% quarterly. There is currently no charge for a KMC. Failure to allow us to perform regular service on a previously established KMC schedule will void the agreement and exclude you from the discounting on service and parts. Access Control and Phone Entry System Programming Remote Programming Service - $75.00/month This Includes programming up to 8 times per month and only billable for months the service is utilized. Service Call Notes and Policies

 

Automated Gate Systems are hazardous.

 

Implementation of all UL325 and ASTM F2200 current safety guidelines are the responsibility of the customer.

 

It is customer's responsibility to request information regarding UL325 and ASTM F2200 safety standards.

 

Service Call maintenance and repairs do NOT deflect liability of customer's gate systems onto Fix A Gate LLC.

Call Rates noted above do NOT include the price for parts required to complete a service call repair. Service Vehicles contain an inventory of the most commonly utilized maintenance parts but some repairs will require a formal quote and return trip. Service technician will request approval for the installation of parts required unless a predetermined approval value has been established as part of work order.

 

Note: If technician is unable to make contact to gain approval for the installation of parts an additional BILLABLE service call trip may be required for repairs. ALL service calls will include time for the technician to fully test all installed safety devices currently installed on the gates being serviced. Customer is responsible for clearly and completely describing the locations and problems being experienced in the request for service to ensure proper service. New Residential Customers are required to prepay the minimum service call rate by credit card before a technician is dispatched.

 

Service Call Response times are based on a "best effort" basis and Fix A Gate assumes no liability for longer response times.

 

In consideration of minimizing service call costs for our customers:

 

Service Calls only include inspection and repair to resolve the problem reported by the customer's "service request" and no preventative maintenance efforts.
